What is this ?
La Forêt de l'Aventure®
of Jaujac is an adventure trekking in the trees, sometimes called
Parc Aventure® or Accrobranche® but these two last names
are registered trademarks. You visite the forest with a new point
of view, going from a tree to an other one thanks the various hanging
activities (elevated bridges, Tarzan jumps (liana), rope ladders,
tyrolean descents, ...).
In a 5 Ha site with various tree species (Oregon pine or Douglas
fir, chestnut tree, ash tree, wild cherry tree, maritime pine, scots
pine, …), we propose you a "Discovery" course open
to everybody including young children (minimum size 1m10 with shoes)
and 6 "Adventure " courses, with great sensations, open
to all people over 1m35 (size with shoes). At your disposal on the
spot : a snack with drinks, sandwiches, ice cream, local products,
a picnic area, toilets, and a private car park to have a nice adventure
day.
Where are we located ?
We are located in JAUJAC, a beautiful little village at 15 kms
from AUBENAS (sea the map), in the
Natural Park of "Monts d'Ardèche", in a lovely
naturel setting, at the bottom of the volcano of Jaujac, and of
the Tanargue massif, one the road of the pass of the "Croix
de Millet". If your are interested in canoe & kayak, the
gorges of Ardèche and its famous natural bridge the "Pont
d'Arc" are located at 45 km.  But
you will also find nearby our site, natural swimming places, under
the famous basaltic flows and numerous walkings.
How does it work ?
Without problem ! A professional team equips you with the safety
material (harness, carabiner, ...). Then an instructor briefs you
with the security orders and supervizes you on a test site. After
that, you begin your visit in autonomy..
For groups, please plan to come with enough accompanying adults
(1 adult for 7/8 young people and 1 adult for 3/4 kids).
How many time does it last ?
Allow around 2H30 to do all the courses. Outside the peak period
(July / August), there is no time limitation. You can stay all the
day and have a picnic on the spot.
In peak period (July / August), you have the material for 3H30 of
fun. Of course you can always use our picnic area.
Who can come ?
Our courses are open to everybody from 5 years old (minimum size
1m10 with shoes). The Discovery course and the first Adventure course
are open to people over 1m10 (size with shoes). All the other courses
are open to people over 1m35 (size with shoes). No need to be a
great athlete. All courses can be done by everybody. Difficult activities
can be bypassed. .
Great adventurers will enjoy the 3 Tarzan jumps : a Tarzan liana
munted on a pulley and the great tyrolean descents.
Can young people or children comes alone ?
Young people under 16 years old must go with an adult in the trees.
From16 à 18 years old, it is
possible to go without an adult but a written autorization from
parents will be requirred.
How to dress ?
The best dress : sport clothes to get dirty with good shoes : sport
or terkking shoes. We supply the rest of the equipement (harness,
carabiner, ...). You could buy gloves on the spot or bring yours.
Do not forget a tie to secure your glasses or your long hair.
What happens in case of rain
?
The trees protect you and most of the activities remain dry, and
after all you came for adventure no ?. There is no risk for your
safety except during storm. In this last case we close the course
for a moment, until the end of the storm. If strong rain during
all the day is forcasted, our park could be closed. Please call
us before coming.
In case of bad weather during the opening (strong wind, storms,
...) we could stop the activities temporarily or definitively for
your own safety.
If the closing is done before you complete 1 hour of activity, we
will give you 1 free ticket for each ticket you bought.
Can we eat on the spot ?
Yes, you can. At your disposal on the spot : a snack with drinks,
sandwiches, ice cream, local products, a picnic area, toilets, and
a private car park to have a nice adventure day.

Is there something else
to do or to see ?
Yes, for sure ! You can try mountain bike or walk around the volcano
of Jaujac (allow one hour). You can visit Jaujac typical little
village of Ardèche or swim in the river "le Lignon"
under the famous basaltic flows.
